The BPA, or Business Professionals of America, is an organization made to be an innovator in Career and Technical Education, providing their members with opportunities for growth through education, competition, community service and personal development.

Mrs. Olivarri is the sponsor of Pleasanton High School’s BPA, and last weekend they hosted a business competition in Medina Valley.

Aquarius (January 20- February 18)- 

You’ve been more tired than usual lately, but it’s for a reason. Try making your schedule more healthy, even if only slightly. The difference it can make will certainly surprise you. 

Pisces (February 19- March 20)- 

You recently had a falling out with someone who was close to you, and you’re devastated about this. Give them some space, and after a while, reach out. Despite the results, the closure will be nice.

Aries (March 21- April 19)- 

You’ve found that your hygiene has progressively been getting worse, and you’re unsure as to why. Try out new hygiene habits, you will find something new that you like a lot.

Taurus (April 20- May 20)- 

Your financial position seems to be a bit in the dumps as of late. Make sure you start to watch your spending habits, and your financial situation will surely improve.

Gemini (May 21- June 20)-

Pumpkin Pie Recipe (Sweet Treat Article)

Ingredients:

1 (15 Ounce) can pumpkin

1 (14 Ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

½ teaspoon ground ginger

½ teaspoon salt

1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust

Directions:

Step One:

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Whisk pumpkin, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, spices and salt in a medium bowl until smooth. Pour into the crust. Bake for 15 minutes.

Step Two:

Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees F and continue baking 35 to 40 minutes or until a knife inserted 1 inch from the crust comes out clean. Cool. Garnish as desired. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator.
