Under the guidance of first-year coach Michael, the Pleasanton boys and girls golf teams are setting their sights high this season. With a goal of making it to the state tournament for the boys and regionals for the girls, the teams have been working hard to achieve success.

The boys team, led by three experienced seniors, has shown their skill and dedication on the course. Their first-place finish in the District 28 4A tournament is a testament to their hard work and talent. With standout performances from Mark Thornton and Levi Turner, the boys are primed and ready to compete at the regional tournament.

On the other hand, the girls team, although less experienced, has shown great promise and determination. Their second-place finish in the district tournament was a stepping stone towards their goal of making it to regionals. With coach Michael’s guidance and the support of their teammates, the girls are motivated to continue improving and competing at a high level.

Coach Michael is impressed by the commitment and dedication of all the golfers on the team, both experienced and new. He believes that golf is a sport that can be enjoyed for a lifetime and is excited to see the progress and growth of each player.

As the teams prepare for the regional tournament in April, the Pleasanton golfers are focused and determined to achieve their goals. With a strong work ethic and a supportive team environment, both the boys and girls teams are confident in their abilities to succeed on the course. With their eyes set on the prize, the Pleasanton golf teams are ready to show what they are capable of at regionals.
